03/06/2009Last week, two Towson students were robbed at locations near campus. In one incident a commuter students was threatened with a six-inch knife. [...] The other robbery occurred on March 6 in the parking lot at the Cardiff Hall Apartments. The resident student reported the incident to BCPD, stating he was grabbed by an unknown suspect from behind while two others searched through his pockets and clothing to remove his wallet. The suspects then fled the scene toward Burke Avenue, according to the crime alert documents posted on the TUPD Web site. The victim described these suspects as three African-American males, 17-18 years of age. The crime alert e-mails sent by TUPD were sent only to Towson faculty, but not the student body.
